Dr. Jennifer Edman is a board-certified family physician in Portland specializing in comprehensive acne care for all ages. The mom of two teenagers, Dr. Edman believes in the importance of patient education, open communication, and empowering patients to make healthy, informed decisions.

Training & Education
Dr. Edman attended the University of Rochester, where she double-majored in biology and Latin American studies. She was a member of Rochester Early Medical Scholars (RMES) and graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Edman remained at the University of Rochester for medical school. Her distinguished academic performance led to her acceptance into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society recognizing the top 20% of medical students nationwide.
Following med school, Dr. Edman completed her residency in family medicine at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. While there, she also earned her Master of Public Health degree from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Edman completed her training at one of the country’s top medical centers, University of California San Francisco. During her time at UCSF, she undertook a fellowship in adolescent medicine.
Clinical Expertise
With her advanced training in adolescent medicine, Dr. Edman has dedicated her practice to the comprehensive, medically supervised care of acne. Utilizing prescription topical medications, oral contraceptives, antibiotics, and Accutane, if needed, Dr. Edman offers the most effective and scientifically proven options for treating acne.
She develops an acne treatment plan that includes at-home skin care and professional treatments, including microneedling, chemical peels and lasers. All of Dr. Edman’s treatment plans are customized and evidence-based, using the latest research in clinical medicine to help you successfully manage your acne.
Professional Experience
Dr. Edman is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and obtained fellowship training in Adolescent Medicine. She has worked in college health at Reed College, OHSU Student Health Center, and OHSU Center for Women’s Health and now helps Réviance® patients put their best face forward.
