How Does Microneedling Work? 

Microneedling utilizes a handheld device with fine, sterile needles. When applied to the skin, it creates thousands of tiny, controlled micro-injuries (“channels”) that trigger the body’s natural wound-healing process. 

As these tiny wounds repair, new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid are produced. The result is an improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as a reduction in the appearance of scars and pigmentation. The treatment is customizable, allowing our two dual board-certified facial plastic surgeons to adjust the needle depth based on your specific skin concerns.
